Yesterday, Hans and Käthe took me to the biggest Weinfest in the world at Bad Dürkheim. Fun fact: many cities in Germany have the title "Bad" which designates them as a city with a spa of sorts, something that is good for the health ("Gesundheit", literally "good health", what one would say when you sneeze).
This is a Saline, you enter and from what I understand, water passes over some sort of stone and it is believed to be good for you to breath the fresh vapors

The world's biggest wine barrel has a restaurant inside
Love me some old men in lederhosen playing music in the street
So many sweets
Today, the Weidenbach's took me to Speyer to see the Dom, or cathedral. This is a Catholic cathedral built by kings.
It's much bigger on the inside than this looks

Cool statue whatsits outside the Dom
Candle thing in the Dom where you can buy a candle and leave it here
Beautiful wall paintings

Dead people
People leave flowers for dead kings from the 1200s
This plaque was in the Dom. I thought it had a beautiful translation: Jews, Atheists, Christians, Karmelites, Martyrs: Whoever seeks the Truth, seeks God, whether he knows it or not- Edith Stein
Huge iron door. Lift weights if you want to open this sucker.

"Standing out is not allowed. Throwing of objects will be punished". Oops, my bad. Totally stood out there.
This old lady looks like a rule breaker to me.
Tiny city, tiny cars
Tonight, I will go back to the Weinfest with Dominik and his friends. Viel Spaß (Much Fun)!
